How You Can Begin To Improve Your Mindset in Just 5 Days

Is your New Year's resolution to get fitter, stronger or just improve your health? Let us get your started! 

Sometimes it's hard to know where to start when you're beginning your journey in improving not just your physical but also your mental health. We've already talked about some habits to help kick start you on that journey, but how can you add those to your daily routine? 

Here's a five day plan - including a workout - to get you started. You can repeat this as many times as you need to get in to the routine of working out and looking after your physical and mental health ready to take on 2022.

Day 1

Workout for the day:

Bench Press 3 sets 10 reps
Incline Bench Press 3 sets 10 reps
Pec Deck 3 sets 12 reps
Dumbbell Shoulder Press 3 sets 12 reps
Triceps Extension with Rope 3 sets 12 reps
Triceps Kickbacks 3 sets 12 reps

To include in your daily routine:

Aim to drink 4L of water
Eat 3 pieces of fruit
Eat 3 pieces of veg
Walk 10,000 steps

Day 2 - Rest Day

To include in your daily routine:

Aim to drink 4L of water
Eat at least 3 pieces of fruit
Eat at least 3 pieces of veg
Walk at least 10,000 steps

Day 3

Workout for the day:

Squat 3 sets 10 reps
Leg press 3 sets 10 reps
Leg Extension 3 sets 12 reps
Leg Curl 3 sets 12 reps
Walking Lunges 3 sets 10 reps
Calf Raises 3 sets 12 reps

To include in your daily routine: 

Drink 4L water
Eat 4 pieces of fruit 
Eat 4 pieces of veg
Walk 10,500 steps

Day 4 - Rest Day 

To include in your daily routine: 

Drink 4L water
Eat 7 pieces of fruit 
Eat 7 pieces of veg
Walk at least 10,500 steps

Day 5

Workout for the day:

Deadlift 3 sets 10 reps
Bent Over Row 3 sets 10 reps
Lat Pulldown 3 sets 12 reps
Seated Row 3 sets 12 reps
Bicep Curls 3 sets 10 reps
Hammer Curls 3 sets 12 reps

To include in your daily routine: 

Drink 5L water
Eat at least 7 pieces of fruit 
Eat at least 7 pieces of veg
Walk at least 10,500 steps
